Spinal Decompression

Manual spinal decompression is a nonsurgical noninvasive chiropractic manipulation procedure that uses a chiropractor's hands and a specially designed traction table to relieve back pain caused by compressed discs and nerves. The traction creates a negative pressure while creating space between the vertebrae freeing pressure on the compressed disc and nerve. This additional space reduces pain and increases blood flow to the spine to promote healing.

Spinal decompression therapy is generally safe but in rare occasions may cause a temporary sharp pain or muscle spasms.

Patients with pain from sciatica, bulging discs, herniated discs, or persistent chronic pain are all good candidates for Spinal Decompression.
